Needed electronics is capsuled into a weather resistant safebox from GAO. For a permanent installation there are of course more professional housing solutions required. For this demo setup having a box easy to open and with hasselfree handling was top priority. The box includes
- Ultimeter 2100 console
- Cat 5 cable to connect Ultimeter sensor terminal with Ultimeter console
- RS232-USB converter that feeds serial data from Ultimeter console into Meteohub
- Ultimeter sensor terminal where sensors for rain, wind and temperature/humidity are connected
- end of a power cord where a 12 power plug is connected that feeds the Meteohub and Ultimeter
Die notwendige Elektronik ist in einer wetterfesten "Safebox" von GAO gekapselt. Für eine dauerhafte Aufstellung sind professionellere Gehäuse zu verwenden, jedoch für diese Demonstrationsstation standen die leichte Handhabbarkeit und der einfache Zugang zum System im Vordergrund. Die Safebox enthält die folgenden Komponenten
- PeetBros Ultimeter 2100-Konsole
- Cat 5-Kabel zur Verbindung des Ultimeter Sensorverteilers mit der Konsole
- RS232-USB-Konverter zum Auslesen der seriellen daten der Konsole seitens Meteohub
- Ultimeter Sensorverteiler, angeschlossen an den Wind-, Regen- und Temperatur/Feuchte-Sensor
- Ende eines Stromkabels, an das ein 12V Steckernetzteil zum Speisen des Meteohub und der Ultimeter-Station
